Mani Kambo collaborated with Nick Christie as part of her solo exhibition "Janus" in September 2017. Kambo had been contemplating the place of myths and rituals in contemporary society considering how traditions are passed on through heritage sites and memory.
Mani experimented with the cyanotype photography technique, exploring ways of exposing imagery onto materials such as plaster, paper and fabric. She played with different methods of exposure, including with an overhead projector, digital projection and natural light. The prints stood alongside her sculpture and moving imagery work in the exhibition.
